UNA COSMOLOGIA DELL’ANIMO
Sono entrata in contatto con l’universo dell’Arte subito dopo gli studi umanistici.
L’incontro con l’Istituto del Restauro fondato a Roma da Cesare Brandi è stato per me trasformativo.
La mia vita di studio prima, e professionale poi, è stata segnata dal contatto quotidiano con le opere dei grandi Maestri.
Considero questo un privilegio esclusivo in quanto ho avuto la possibilità di restaurare capolavori unici al mondo.
Dalla frequentazione costante con la Bellezza, frutto della creatività umana, è nato in me il desiderio di evocare e di esprimere in maniera personale, le immagini che avevo assimilato e le tecniche che avevo indagato.
La mia creazione artistica (pittura, scultura, poesia, danza) rappresenta un punto di incontro fra il visibile e l’Invisibile, una meditazione personale sulla bellezza dell’ Ineffabile.
In pittura, l’uso preponderante dell’oro costituisce una scelta non soltanto materica quanto concettuale, una forma di sublimazione del fare artistico inteso come trasmutazione alchemica della Materia
A COSMOLOGY OF THE SOUL
I came in contact with the universe of Art immediately after my Humanistic Studies.
The encounter with the Institute, founded in Rome by Cesare Brandi, was transformative for me.
My life of study first, and then professional, was marked by daily contact with the works of the great Masters.
I consider this an exclusive privilege as I have had the opportunity to restore unique masterpieces in the world.
From the constant frequentation of Beauty, the fruit of human creativity, the desire was born in me to evoke and express in a personal way, the images I had assimilated and the techniques I had investigated.
My artistic production (picture, sculpture, poetry, dance) represents a meeting point between the visible and the Invisible, a personal meditation on the beauty of Ineffability.
In my picture, the preponderant use of gold constitutes a choice that is not only material but conceptual too, a form of sublimation of artistic making understood as the alchemical transmutation of Matter.
